We're not here to sell you a garden. We're here to help you understand one.

We don't accept payment to feature or recommend anything, we run no affiliate links, and we don't generate or sell leads. Nothing on this site is influenced by a commercial relationship, because we don't have any.
If we ever mention a type of plant, tool or practice, it's because it helps explain something — never because someone paid for the mention.
Ecological philosophy
We see a garden as a small piece of a larger living system. Plants matched to their place support local wildlife, use less water, and ask less of both the gardener and the environment.
