The Ascent Draw

One house card sets the target. Two rows climb toward it, card by card. The first row to be handed a matching rank takes the round — and your coins were never real to begin with.

Rules of the table

Setting the house card

When you press Deal, a full 52-card deck is shuffled and the top card is turned face up. Its rank — ace through king, suit ignored — becomes the target for the entire round.

The shuffle happens at the moment of the deal, so the house card cannot be known before you commit your side.

Deal order

  1. The first card off the remaining deck goes to Andar.
  2. The next goes to Bahar.
  3. Dealing continues to alternate, one card at a time, without exception.
  4. The moment a row receives a card matching the house card's rank, dealing stops and that row wins.

Payouts

Andar — 1.90×. Andar is dealt first and therefore wins slightly more than half of all rounds, so a winning Andar stake returns 1.90 coins per coin staked.

Bahar — 2.00×. Bahar waits one card longer and wins slightly less often, so it returns the full 2.00 coins per coin staked.

Returns include your original stake. A 100-coin win on Bahar returns 200 coins to your balance.

Balance and limits

You begin with 1,000 virtual coins. Stakes run from 10 to 250 per round. Your stake is deducted when the deal begins and any return is credited the instant the round resolves.

If your balance falls below the smallest stake, betting is disabled and the table tells you so. Reset Balance restores 1,000 coins at any time, free of charge, because there is no charge to begin with.

A note on what this is

The Ascent Draw is a social game. It cannot be played for money, it pays nothing but virtual coins, and those coins vanish when you reload the tab. Nothing on this page can be purchased and nothing won here can be withdrawn. If the idea of wagering real funds has any appeal, please read our responsible play guidance before looking elsewhere.
