Why does Andar pay less than Bahar?
Andar is dealt the first card of every round, which gives it a small but genuine edge in how often it matches the house card first. The 1.90x return on Andar against 2.00x on Bahar reflects that edge rather than any house preference.
Is the deck actually shuffled?
Yes. A fresh 52-card deck is built and shuffled with a Fisher-Yates pass at the start of every round, and the house card is simply the top card of that shuffle. Nothing is predetermined and no outcome is weighted.
How old do I need to be?
